Job Description

  • Defining, analysing and solving complex financial and business problems relating to areas such as insurance premiums, annuities, superannuation funds, pensions and dividends
  • Examining financial projections for general insurance companies, finance companies, government and other organisations
  • Designing new types of policies, assessing risks and analysing investments in life insurance, superannuation funds, health insurance, friendly societies, financial markets and other areas
  • Formulating mathematical models to simulate processes
  • Applying models to experimental observations, and adjusting and recasting the models
  • Using numerical analysis methods to develop algorithms and perform computations
  • Liaising with management and clients to determine the subject or area to be surveyed or examined
  • Specifying the data to be collected, and the methodology to be used in collection and analysis
  • Evaluating and describing the reliability and utility of source information
  • Analysing and interpreting data, and producing relevant statistics to describe and infer particular trends and patterns

      1. Through the VETASSESS online application system, fill in the form, deduct the fee, and upload the documents;
      1. Track application progress and follow application status
      1. If additional documents are required, VETASSESS will send an email notification;
      1. After completing the skills assessment application, you can view the results and download the result letter in the VETASSESS online application system. A copy of the result letter will generally not be mailed to you unless you request it in the skills assessment application and pay the postage.

    Work requirements

      1. In the past 5 years, you must have at least 1 year of post-graduate work experience that is highly relevant to your academic qualifications. Only paid, full-time work experience can be recognized (internships, work during doctoral studies (partially subsidized by the school), and other part-time work are not considered work experience).

    Academic requirements

      1. Bachelor degree or above. (If the applicant does not have a degree certificate, he/she cannot apply for Group A job evaluation);
      1. The academic degree and major are highly relevant to the nominated occupation;

    Language Requirements

      1. No need to provide proof of English language proficiency
