Administers court registry services and performs administrative functions in support of Judges and Magistrates.
Job Description
- Listing actions for hearing and processing documentation for court actions
- Documenting details of court proceedings, actions and decisions
- Enforcing the law as an officer of the court by executing court orders such as eviction notices
- Serving legal orders and documents such as summonses and subpoenas
- Organising jury and witness lists, and summonsing and swearing in juries and witnesses
- Maintaining order in court and hearing rooms and adjacent areas
- Assisting Solicitors in areas of conveyancing, contracts, common law, probate and other legal practice matters
- Satisfying statutory requirements, establishing beneficial entitlements and distributing assets
- Maintaining probate and trust files, investing trust funds and administering accounts

Application Steps
- Select a nominated occupation for assessment based on the purpose of your visa application;
- Through the VETASSESS online application system, fill in the form, deduct the fee, and upload the documents;
- Track the progress of your application and follow its status;
- If additional documents are required, VETASSESS will send an email notification;
- After completing your skills assessment application, you can view the results and download the result letter in the VETASSESS online application system. A copy of the result letter will not be mailed to you unless you request it in your skills assessment application and pay for the postage.

Work requirements
- The major is highly relevant, with at least one year of relevant work experience after graduation in the past five years;
- The major is not highly relevant, and at least two years of relevant work experience after graduation in the past five years;
- If you do not have a diploma equivalent to an Australian Level 4 Certificate, but have an Australian Level 3 Certificate that is highly relevant to your nominated occupation, you will need to have at least three years of relevant post-graduation work experience in the past five years.
