Job Description

  • Listing actions for hearing and processing documentation for court actions
  • Documenting details of court proceedings, actions and decisions
  • Enforcing the law as an officer of the court by executing court orders such as eviction notices
  • Serving legal orders and documents such as summonses and subpoenas
  • Organising jury and witness lists, and summonsing and swearing in juries and witnesses
  • Maintaining order in court and hearing rooms and adjacent areas
  • Assisting Solicitors in areas of conveyancing, contracts, common law, probate and other legal practice matters
  • Satisfying statutory requirements, establishing beneficial entitlements and distributing assets
  • Maintaining probate and trust files, investing trust funds and administering accounts

      1. Through the VETASSESS online application system, fill in the form, deduct the fee, and upload the documents;
      1. Track the progress of your application and follow its status;
      1. If additional documents are required, VETASSESS will send an email notification;
      1. After completing your skills assessment application, you can view the results and download the result letter in the VETASSESS online application system. A copy of the result letter will not be mailed to you unless you request it in your skills assessment application and pay for the postage.

    Work requirements

      1. The major is highly relevant, with at least one year of relevant work experience after graduation in the past five years;
      1. The major is not highly relevant, and at least two years of relevant work experience after graduation in the past five years;
      1. If you do not have a diploma equivalent to an Australian Level 4 Certificate, but have an Australian Level 3 Certificate that is highly relevant to your nominated occupation, you will need to have at least three years of relevant post-graduation work experience in the past five years.
