Job Description
- Arranging, giving notice of and attending meetings of directors and shareholders
- Advising organisations' governing boards on matters concerning compliance with stock exchange listing rules, relevant legislation and corporation practice
- Supervising organisations' share capital by preparing documents and share issues, and handling share transfers
- Controlling treasury and treasury systems and establishing and reviewing risk management objectives and treasury policies
- Identifying, managing and reporting on financial risks
- Assisting with equity management, debt management, securities and taxation planning issues
- Collecting, analysing and interpreting information on the financial standing, cost structures and trading effectiveness of organisations
- Devising, re-organising and establishing budgetary cost control and other accounting systems such as computer-based systems
- Conducting audits and investigations and preparing financial statements and reports for management, shareholders, and governing and statutory bodies
- Evaluating the cost effectiveness and risks of operational processes, activities, policies and systems
- Reporting to management on the existence and effectiveness of the system of internal controls
- Establishing audit objectives, and designing and implementing audit methodologies, processes and audit report criteria

Language Requirements
1. IELTS A-level score: no less than 7 points in each of the listening, speaking, reading and writing sections
- 2. Australian accounting graduates who have achieved 4 IELTS scores of 6 (see the language score comparison table below), have a bachelor's or master's degree, and have studied at least 9 core courses can be issued a temporary assessment letter, which the applicant can use to apply for a 485 visa. After obtaining a 485 visa, you can apply for the Skilled Migration Internship Program: Accounting (SMIPA) or use this time to take an A-level IELTS test with a score of no less than 7 points in each subject.
Work requirements
is assessed as employment that is closely related to an ANZSCO occupation for which the applicant has received a suitable skills assessment result;
Paid and continuous work of at least 20 hours per week;
At least one year of cumulative work experience, with at least three months in each position;
Must be obtained within 10 years of graduation;
Excludes internships under the Accounting Skilled Migrant Trainee Program.
CPA: You cannot apply for two professional assessments at the same time. (For example, if an applicant has applied for a CPA accounting professional assessment and then an auditing professional assessment, the auditing professional assessment will cover the previous accounting professional assessment.)
IPA, CA: Recognition of two simultaneous professional assessments.
Academic requirements
- 1. Only Australian undergraduates and above in accounting and accounting-related majors can apply for accounting career pre-assessment.
- 2. Applicants need to have an Australian undergraduate degree, or an Australian master's degree including at least 12 units
- 3. The applicant has completed the required courses for his/her nominated occupation.
