Job Description
- Consulting with teachers, principals and administrative officials of educational institutions to coordinate educational programs and provide advice
- Identifying and evaluating developments in education by conducting research into educational systems
- Serving on committees to identify present and future needs within the educational system, and planning, developing and modifying facilities and programs
- Documenting subjects and courses developed, and evaluating new courses
- Organising and conducting workshops and conferences to train teachers in new programs and methods
- Applying knowledge of learning processes and school structures to develop operational and training programs, and submitting them for decision and funding
- Visiting schools and observing teachers in the classroom, noting pupil response, motivation and teaching techniques
- Discussing programs, records and teachers with School Principals to record academic performance of schools, welfare of pupils and performance of individual teachers
- Making suggestions to government officials about improvements to educational facilities, equipment, buildings and staff to ensure continued standards of education

Application Steps
- Select a nominated occupation for assessment based on the purpose of your visa application;
- Through the VETASSESS online application system, fill in the form, deduct the fee, and upload the documents;
- Track application progress and follow application status
- If additional documents are required, VETASSESS will send an email notification;
- After completing the skills assessment application, you can view the results and download the result letter in the VETASSESS online application system. A copy of the result letter will generally not be mailed to you unless you request it in the skills assessment application and pay the postage.

Work requirements
- In the past 5 years, you must have at least 1 year of post-graduate work experience that is highly relevant to your academic qualifications. Only paid, full-time work experience can be recognized (internships, work during doctoral studies (partially subsidized by the school), and other part-time work are not considered work experience).
Academic requirements
- Bachelor degree or above. (If the applicant does not have a degree certificate, he/she cannot apply for Group A job evaluation);
- The academic degree and major are highly relevant to the nominated occupation;
Language Requirements
- No need to provide proof of English language proficiency
