Job Description
- Compiling and analysing data on economic, legal, political, cultural, demographic, sociological, physical and environmental factors affecting land use
- Conferring with government authorities, communities, Architects, social scientists, Legal Professionals, and planning, development and environmental specialists
- Devising and recommending use and development of land, and presenting narrative and graphic plans, programs and designs to groups and individuals
- Advising governments and organisations on urban and regional planning and resource planning
- Reviewing and evaluating environmental impact reports
- Staying up-to-date with changes in building and zoning codes, regulations and other legal issues
- May serve as mediators in disputes over planning proposals and projects
- May speak at public meetings and appear before government to explain planning proposals

Application Steps
- Select a nominated occupation for assessment based on the purpose of your visa application;
- Through the VETASSESS online application system, fill in the form, deduct the fee, and upload the documents;
- Track application progress and follow application status
- If additional documents are required, VETASSESS will send an email notification;
- After completing the skills assessment application, you can view the results and download the result letter in the VETASSESS online application system. A copy of the result letter will generally not be mailed to you unless you request it in the skills assessment application and pay the postage.

Work requirements
- In the past 5 years, you must have at least 1 year of post-graduate work experience that is highly relevant to your academic qualifications. Only paid, full-time work experience can be recognized (internships, work during doctoral studies (partially subsidized by the school), and other part-time work are not considered work experience).
Academic requirements
- Bachelor degree or above. (If the applicant does not have a degree certificate, he/she cannot apply for Group A job evaluation);
- The academic degree and major are highly relevant to the nominated occupation;

- No need to provide proof of English language proficiency
