Hold a People's Republic of China passport.
Be in the first year of an undergraduate degree program at the University of Newcastle.
Commence studying an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree program at the University (excluding ELICOS, Eabling, Non-Award, research-based higher degree programs and programs offered at an overseas campus).
Be a full-fee-paying international student.
Commence an eligible program in Australia or on an online campus as indicated in your offer letter.
Must not be the beneficiary of a separate University scholarship unless approved by the University for a specific exemption in advance.
Meet all financial obligations of a full-fee-paying international student, including full tuition fees and other costs incurred to obtain a student visa and in the event that you are unable to maintain your scholarship eligibility.

China Excellence Scholarship

Be a full-fee-paying international student.
Have successfully completed a Foundation Year, Degree Transfer, Degree Transfer Extension or Pre-Masters programme at Newcastle University International Education as part of an offer from the University.
Start an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree programme at the University. Please note that this excludes ELICOS, Enabling, Non-Award, Research Higher Degree and quota-restricted programmes.
Must not be the beneficiary of a separate University scholarship unless specific exemption approval has been obtained from the University in advance.
Meet all financial obligations of a full-fee-paying international student, including full tuition fees and other costs incurred to obtain a student visa and in the event that eligibility for the scholarship is no longer maintained.

International Education Institute International Pathway Scholarship

1.Be an International full-fee paying student.
2.Be commencing study in an eligible CRICOS-registered undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree priority program at the university (see above for eligible programs).
3.Not be the beneficiary of a separate University scholarship unless prior approval for special dispensation has been obtained from the university.
4.Be able to meet the financial obligations of a full fee-paying international student specified by the Australian Government. Evidence of this ability must be provided if requested by the university.

International Excellence Scholarship

1.Be an International full-fee paying student.

STEAM Excellence Scholarship

1.Be an International full-fee paying student.
2.Have successfully completed a Foundation Studies, Degree Transfer, Degree Transfer Extended or Pre-Master’s Program at the University of Newcastle College of International Education as part of a packaged offer into the University.
3.Be commencing an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree program at the University. Please note, this excludes ELICOS, Enabling, Non-Award, Higher Degrees by Research and quota-limited programs.
4.Not be the beneficiary of a separate University scholarship unless prior approval for special dispensation has been obtained from the university.
5.Meet all of the financial obligations of a full-fee paying international student, including the full tuition fee and other expenses for the purpose of obtaining your student visa, and in the event that eligibility for the scholarship is not maintained.
6.Not be enrolling in an excluded quota program (see selection details).
