You will test your skills in hands-on laboratory classes, attend exciting field trips around the state, and hear from industry guest lecturers.In your final year of study, you will undertake a research project within your chosen specialisation, where you will design, development, prototype test, and implement your designs with the support of your peers and individual supervisor. In line with Engineers Australia requirements, the University will apply for full accreditation when sufficient students have graduated from this course.Complete this course in two yearsThe majority of students can complete this course in two years based on previous studies. This includes students who have completed a bachelor's degree in engineering (other than civil or mechanical), a non-Washington accord bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering, or students who hold a Bachelor of Science with sufficient numerical skills.Eligibility for the reduced duration will be automatically assessed as part of your application.All other students will be required to complete the three year course.[089190J]
