【电子和通讯技术 & 电气工程技术】专研现代离不开的电
TAFE Queensland
The development of technology and industry cannot be separated from electricity, and every aspect of modern life also cannot be separated from electricity. The importance of electricity is self-evident.
Whether it is the weak electricity of communication networks or the strong electricity of power supply systems, a large number of design, development, and maintenance technicians are needed.
TAFE Queensland offers two related courses: Electronics and Communications Engineering and Electrical Engineering Technology. Let's take a look!
Electronics and Communications Engineering Diploma
The course mainly focuses on computer and communication network configuration, microcontroller device programming and troubleshooting, integrated circuits and components, etc.
Students will learn about the design, application, debugging, risk assessment, management of electronic components in various contexts, and the establishment of technical documentation at work.
In addition, students will also learn operation skills such as soldering, wiring, and terminal processing. Our industry-experienced teachers will provide one-on-one guidance and help to ensure that students can master relevant safety operation skills.

The report predicts that in the next 5 years, Australia will have about 10,000 professional technician vacancies in this field.
TAFE Queensland also offers the Electrical Engineering Technology course. The course mainly studies the system design and inspection of electrical equipment and programs.
Compared with electronics and communications engineering, electrical engineering involves working at higher voltages, such as power and multiple power supplies, mechanical and transmission circuits, safety wiring, and risk assessment and avoidance.
Students will also learn project management, program control, variable speed drives, programmable logic controllers, etc.
