昆士兰州将从本周五开始逐步“解封”
TAFE Queensland
Last Friday, Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced Australia's "three-step unblocking" after the cabinet meeting. It was made clear that each state could start to gradually unblock according to its own situation, and it is planned to achieve full unblocking within Australia by July.
Morrison said that the plan will be reviewed and evaluated every three weeks. Currently, the focus is on gradually restoring the domestic work and life order in Australia. Depending on the situation, the third step of "unblocking" does not rule out reopening the border to international students.
At present, the new cases and confirmed cases of the Australian epidemic are in a significant decline and are becoming increasingly stable. Queensland today has no new cases, and there are now only 18 active cases in the state.
Queensland Premier Anastacia Palaszczuk also announced Queensland's "unblocking" plan.
The first stage will start from 11.59pm this Friday, May 15, 2020, and will allow:
- Outdoor gatherings of up to 10 people, no more than 5 visitors can visit a household at the same time;
- Gradual opening of catering, with no more than 10 customers in the store at the same time;
- One-day tours within 150km from home;
- Some beauty, nail, and hair salons can open, with no more than 10 people in the store;
- Reopening of libraries, playgrounds, and outdoor fitness venues, with a maximum of 10 people at the same time;
- Increase the number of wedding guests to no more than 10 people; the number of funeral attendees increased to no more than 20 people indoors and 30 people outdoors;
- Resume real estate open days and auctions, with no more than 10 people per event;
- Outdoor pools and bathhouses open, with no more than 10 people at the same time, or special scenes approved.
For remote areas in Queensland that have not had cases, two special considerations have been made:
- Considering that catering facilities are important social occasions in remote areas, catering industry stores can receive no more than 20 local customers at the same time;
- Considering the geographical factors of remote areas, the scope of one-day tours can be expanded to within 500km.
The second stage will start from 11.59pm on June 12, 2020, and will further increase the number of people allowed to gather to 20, and further relax travel restrictions, etc. The third stage includes re-examining border measures and allowing gatherings of 100 people, etc.
