The Certificate III in Cabinet Making is, as the name suggests, mainly about making furniture. It includes independent furniture, such as tables and chairs for dining rooms and studies, beds and bedside tables for bedrooms, and overall customization, such as kitchens and bathrooms.

Students will learn about various wood characteristics, manual and computer-aided drawing and design, electric and manual woodworking tools, time and budget balancing, and decoration, among other things.

The Certificate III in Carpentry will teach students how to build, install, and repair the frame structures and some fixed facilities of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Students will mainly learn about structures such as walls, ceilings, roofs and eaves, bases, and foundations, as well as the various tools, equipment, and materials involved.
