Last month, the Shanghai Pharmaceutical Group-Queensland Health Talent Training Center Exchange Base was inaugurated at Shanghai Pharmaceutical School. Shanghai Pharmaceutical School and TAFE Queensland will conduct in-depth cooperation in international exchanges, vocational education and training.

Janelle Chapman, Deputy Principal of TAFE Queensland, explained in detail the school and the Australian vocational education system at the ceremony, and expressed her expectations and support for the cooperation.

TAFE Queensland is the largest and most experienced training institution in Queensland, serving the Queensland community for over 130 years, with more than 20,000 students studying health, nursing and aged care (including community and basic care) at the school each year.

Shanghai Pharmaceutical School

Principal Jiang Zhongyuan of Shanghai Pharmaceutical School also stated that this cooperation will be carried out on the basis of mutual respect and mutual learning, connecting cooperation potential, and jointly creating a bright future for international vocational education.

Shanghai Pharmaceutical School is affiliated with Shanghai Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., and is the only national key secondary vocational school in Shanghai that specializes in pharmaceuticals, supplying high-quality pharmaceutical technical and skilled talents to Shanghai's pharmaceutical industry.

Ms. Ji Min, Deputy Director of the Comprehensive Management Office of Shanghai Pharmaceutical Group, stated that the long-term development of Shanghai Pharmaceutical Group not only requires R&D talents, but also a large number of talents familiar with pharmaceutical R&D technology and operating line. The internationalization strategy of Shanghai Pharmaceutical Group requires the support of international technical talents.

Queensland Government Trade and Investment Office

Julie-Anne Nichols, Chief Representative of the Queensland Government Trade and Investment Office in China, and Ms. Zhou Min, Vice President of the Western Returned Scholars Association, spoke successively, expressing great support for the upcoming cooperation. Representatives from the Shanghai Pudong Medical Device Trade Association and others attended the event to show their support.
