TAFE Queensland
Last week, the Queensland Government in Australia held the first QODE forum in Brisbane. It attracted more than 3,500 participants from industries and enterprises, governments and institutions, the technology and scientific research sectors, as well as interested investors and individuals.
The forum focused on technology and innovation, discussing new technologies including artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR), 5G, and the opportunities, risks, and responses that technological advancements will bring to business operations and the economic environment.

TAFE Queensland was also invited to this grand event, showcasing our cybersecurity, augmented reality (AR) welding teaching machine, small and startup business guidance programs, and other technologies and products.
Among them, cybersecurity students from the Gold Coast and Brisbane campuses participated in a two-day special event and demonstrated their hacking and anti-hacking skills through the 'Australian Security Cyber Challenge'.
At the TAFE Queensland exhibition area, attendees could see the dense network attacks and defenses from around the world, which were both amazing and a bit worrying: With the maturity of 5G technology, the era of interconnected everything is coming. Are we ready?
While 5G networks are faster, with more devices connected and lower network latency, the pressure on network security is also greater, especially when applied to industrial production, transportation, and communication security.
To protect companies and individuals from malicious cyber activities, cybersecurity has never been more important, and cybersecurity professionals are about to become the darlings of the job market.
