190 Permanent Residence Score

190 Visa

Government Sponsored Skilled Migrant Visa
The Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190) is a permanent visa for skilled people who want to work and live in Australia. Applicants can get an additional 5 points through state government sponsorship to reach the minimum application standard of 65 points. After a successful application, the state of sponsorship requires the applicant to live in the state for 2 years before settling in other regions. The 190 visa can be applied for both in Australia and outside Australia. Compared with the 189 visa, after successfully passing the 190 immigration, you need to live in the state of sponsorship for 2 years before you can settle in other regions (with residence restrictions). Each state government has different requirements for state government sponsorship applications, which generally involve three key points: nominated occupation, English proficiency and work experience.
