Application conditions
1.Visa record requirements:820 visa applicants must have no negative record of visa cancellation or visa application rejection;
2.Visa sponsor requirements:In most cases, the applicant's spouse or de facto partner, the sponsor, must be: an Australian citizen, an Australian permanent resident, or an eligible New Zealand citizen. In addition, the sponsor of the 820 visa must meet the following requirements:
- The 820 visa requires a sponsor both when applying and after approval;
- In most cases the sponsor is the partner of the principal applicant;
- The Immigration Bureau needs to review the guarantor's situation and approve his/her guarantee qualifications;
- The guarantor of the 820 visa cannot be changed. The guarantor must be the same person when the 820 is submitted and during the review process after submission (approximately 2 years).
3.Requirements for the relationship between visa applicant and sponsor:The applicant and the guarantor are registered in a marriage or de facto marriage relationship;
4.Age requirements for visa applicants:Married applicants must generally be 18 years of age or older;
