590 Student Guardian Visa
Introduction
The Student Guardian visa allows a parent or other legal guardian of an international student (a 500 student visa holder) to temporarily reside in Australia to care for and raise the student while they are studying. The validity period of the 590 Student Guardian visa depends on the validity period of the student's 500 student visa, up to a maximum of 5 years per visa.

Application conditions
1.The applicant is 21 years of age or older and is the student’s parent, guardian or relative;
2.Possess and show evidence of sufficient funds to support yourself and your student during your stay;
3.Have adequate health insurance;
4.be able to provide accommodation, welfare and other support;
5.If you need to hold an eligible substantive visa in Australia;
6.Family members under 6 years old cannot be brought along (except in special circumstances);
7.The accompanying person must be at least 6 years old and not more than 18 years old (under special circumstances, the age can be over 18 years old).
